Tyre Pressure Monitor System

Perfect pressure for productivity.

The Kalmar Tyre Pressure Monitor System keeps drivers informed of the exact pressure of their equipment’s tyres so they can be kept at an optimal pressure level to reduce wear and tear.  As a result, it will use less fuel, saving you money and reducing your CO2 emissions.

Optimise your tyre performance.

Small variations in your equipment's tyre pressure can be costly, and the longer you leave your tyres unchecked, the more these costs will add up.

The Kalmar Tyre Pressure Monitor System continuously monitors the pressure of your equipment’s tyres and alerts drivers to changes in tyre pressure, allowing them to take corrective action. Keeping your tyres at the right pressure will mitigate unnecessary wear, reduce blowouts, keep your machine moving as productively as possible and provide a safer driving experience – all of which reduces your overall parts, servicing and operational costs.

When your equipment’s tyre pressure is maintained at the correct level, it will also experience less drag. As a result, it will use less fuel, saving you money and reducing your CO2 emissions.

What equipment can it be used for?

Tyre Pressure Monitor System is available for:

  • Reachstackers

  • Forklift Trucks

  • Empty Container Handlers

  • Terminal Tractors

  • Straddle Carriers

It can be retrofitted onto both Kalmar machines and equipment from other manufacturers. Contact us to verify the upgrade availability for your fleet.

How does it work?

Bluetooth sensors installed on each tyre continuously send data back to the in-cabin display. When the pressure of any tyre becomes too low or too high, an alert is given so that instant action can be taken. The sensors also monitor tyre temperature.

Drivers receive alerts via the display when your tyre pressure is either 12.5% or 25% below the recommended level. They will also be alerted if your tyres are over-inflated or if they become too hot. All readings can be displayed in psi, kPa or bar.
